Basic 3 weeks Board and Train
Your dog stays at the trainer’s house for three weeks. In this program, your dog will be immersed in structured training 24/7, picking up good habits to speed up the learning process. Your dog learns to cohesive with the trainer’s pack and learns to socialize with humans and dogs with good social manners. This program is great to dog owners that are going on a vacation or just need some help with their new rescued dog etc. Meanwhile, dog owners will have time to work on themselves to become a confident Pack Leader that their dog needs.
This program is for dogs who have no aggressive tendencies towards humans and dogs. For issues such as leash reactivity, resource guarding, fearfulness, anxiety and more please check out our 4-5 weeks Behavior Modification Board and Train program.
Program Details
Your dog will learn:
- Kennel/crate trainin
g: How to teach your dog to feel comfortable, safe and calm in the kennel/crate. - Sit: A controlled position for a short duration.
- Down: Four paws on the floor laying down.
- Food Manners: No table food, no begging, patiently waiting for their meal till you release.
- Leave it : Do not take food/object without your permission.
- Out – Drop /stop eating food or object
- Thresholds: No more door dashing, patiently wait for you to go first.
- Leash walking : Leash introduction; we teach your dog to stay calm on a leash. No more pulling and lunging.
- Heel On Leash: Walking politely by your side.
- Place: Lay down on a mat relaxing with distractions.
- Break: Release from command.
- Stay: Hold their position with distractions, patiently wait for you to return. This significantly helps with separation anxiety.
- Recall: Come when called no matter what your dog is doing.
- Strengthen their impulse control
- To behaved with real world distractions indoors and outdoors with a more neutral and confident state of mind
- The proper social skills with people and dogs
Board and Train Policy
- Up-to-date vaccinations.( Rabies, DHPP, Canine Influenza, Bordetella etc)
- Ongoing monthly flea and tick prevention
- Recent vet visit documentation proof for a complete physical, a fecal lab test to clear out any intestinal parasites and any other contagious diseases. A skin check-up (infectious mites, lice, fleas, ticks, ringworms etc.)
- Pick-up/drop-off before 6pm. ( Please email us for pick-up service locations, a travel fee might apply)
- An upfront payment of the consultation fee will go toward your Board and Train later on.
- At least a 3 weeks notice to reserve your spot with a deposit of $250 after the initial consultation which will be deducted from your total amount. Space is limited.
- 70% of the total Board and Train amount as down payment on your dog’s drop-off/pick-up date.
- The remaining balance will be collected on the day of your dog’s go-home session.
- All payments can be done by Cash/Check/Zelle.
3 Weeks – $3000
This package also includes:
- One hour and thirty minutes consultation in your own home or through a Zoom meeting included.
- Two hours go-home session included in our trainer’s home.
- Two follow-up sessions within one month included. Each session is one hour.
- Drop-off at our trainer’s home. Pick-up service may be available for dogs who are fine in the travel crate, who don’t have motion sickness, car anxiety, no human aggression, barking or any reactivity issues in the car .( A travel fee may be applied, please ask for a service area).
- Regular email and phone communication + Photos/Videos updates posted weekly to our Instagram @DisciplinedK9
- The remote collar is required , the price might vary.
Behavior problems will be addressed during our three-weeks Board and Train program:

Behavioral Modification Board and Train (4-5 weeks)
It takes approximately 28 days for dogs to pick up a new habit. That’s why we created this six weeks behavior modification board and train program works not only on all the usual commands , but also additionally focus on reactivity on and off leash (barking, growling, lunging etc) to other dogs, animals, bikes, skateboards and people etc or even your dog has bitten a human/ dog before. Board and Train Policy
- If your dog has any aggressive or reactive tendencies, gotten into dog fights before, has redirected aggression, vet/grooming aggression or is likely to be a bite risk even he/she has never bitten anyone before, it’s required that you muzzle train your dog prior to your drop-off. This is for the safety of our trainers, your dog, our demo dogs and the general public during training and socialization.

4-5 Weeks – $4,500-5500
( Additional weeks may be added during their stay to further assist your dog’s more challenging training needs. $850 per week.)
